The world championship in Houston was an amazing experience for our team. We were able to compete with the best teams in the world and finished 24th in the Turing sub-division. Sadly, we were not picked in the Turing alliance selections. Overall, this season has been our best yet and we are looking forward to see some familiar teams at GRITS in the fall. Thanks everyone, for a great season!
It has been a phenomenal weekend for the team. We preformed very well at the state competition in Athens. We were the 7th seed alliance and made it all the way to the finals, but unfortunately fell to the 1st seed. We could not have made it that far with out the help of our two amazing alliance partners, Teams 4188 and 4941. A huge thanks to them! Lastly, we did qualify for the the world championship in Houston, Texas and we will be attending in a couple of weeks. We are excited to have this experience for the second year in a row and are looking forward to the competition. Good luck to all of the teams!
Overall our performance at our competition in Duluth this weekend was relatively good. We were in the 8th seed alliance but fell short in the quarterfinals to the 1st seed. A huge thanks to team 6842 for picking us.
Congratulations to Teams 4189, 1746, and 6471 for their first place victory at the Gainesville District Qualifier. We are very happy with the overall result of our last competition. We will be doing improvements to the arms and autonomous and hope to have a similar result at our next competition in Duluth. A huge thanks to Team 1746 and 6471 for all of their help in the alliance.
